Intellectual Standards 2

What do you take for granted or assume about collaboration?

In my experience with collaborations there was a dynamic of one hardworking whereas the rest of the group waited on their idea to band wagon on vs equally contributing. This shaped my opinion but over the years I began to realize that I took for granted the ideas, talents and unique touch of those individuals I was collaborating with due to my mindset that they were a burden. My assumptions did not allow for me to make sound judgement nor have been fair-minded when considering options for plausible solutions for whatever question presented at the time. Each viewpoint has its own contributions whether I support should be considered if it meets the intellectual standards. The point is not to pass judgement but to combine cohesive ideas for a purpose.

What is the purpose of community?

A purpose of a community is to have a group of people banded by either common beliefs or simply to communicate and have a sense of belonging. These groups are a natural human phenomenon of which we come together to form a safe hold where we can share ideas, solutions and baking recipes. A community to me basically means a family that whether in agreeance or not will be there to be a support group in times of need. Its been shown numerous times that we gravitate towards each other for a sense of belonging. These communities generally have a common purpose that helps to drive them to stick together and discuss relevant topics that are of importance to them.
